As back to school season ramps up, signage comes into play now more than ever to help students to stay safe while navigating a transition to full-time, in-person instruction.

Signage within schools allows students, staff, and parents to help understand how to stay safe while in shared spaces. It also helps manage areas that have a lot of foot traffic such as cafeterias and hallways. Some schools in the Pacific Northwest have regulations for each grade to enter at a separate entrance now. The Oregon Department of Education announced earlier this month that all individuals five (5) years of age and older have to wear a face-covering while indoors in a K-12 school, during school hours. Additionally, all teachers, educators, support staff, and volunteers in K-12 schools will be required to be fully vaccinated by October 18 or six weeks after full FDA approval.
